Patrick Suckling

Patrick Suckling brings deep experience across diplomacy, government and the private sector, having led Australia’s international agenda for two Prime Ministers, served as Australia’s High Commissioner to India, Ambassador for the Environment during the negotiation of the Paris Agreement, and as a senior adviser to Australia’s longest-serving Foreign Minister. His work has focused on strengthening trade and investment relationships with key global economies including the United States, China, Japan, South Korea and Indonesia, alongside leadership roles within APEC and in advancing transition technologies such as renewable energy, hydrogen and carbon capture and storage.

Prior to joining Allcap Securities, Patrick co-founded Pollination, a global climate advisory and investment firm operating at the forefront of climate transition, finance and technology. Under his leadership, Pollination grew to support leading corporates and financial institutions worldwide, manage significant capital, and develop next-generation investment opportunities across energy transition and climate solutions. Patrick brings to Allcap a rare combination of policy insight, commercial judgement and experience navigating complex regulatory, financial and geopolitical environments.
